Overall, I would say Pinthouse is a fine place to get a decent small or medium pizza. I'll add to that--in terms of price and quality, it's superior to a lot of pizza joints in Austin "with character," like Rounders. On the other hand, I'm not sure the taste stacks up to other alternatives, like Via 313 or Home Slice.

Pinthouse is a top 2 pizza in Austin in my opinion! My go-to is either the honey pear or pepperoni + basil. There pizza rolls are also outstanding. They also brew their own beer and everyone in Austin knows about the famous Electric Jellyfish. If not, you have to try it if you enjoy a hazy ipa. Tons of flavor.That said, I've also tried many other pizza places even in the pizza hub itself, New York, that have honey as an add-on, and it's definitely not always a win. Pinthouse just does it better.
