Apr 12, 2016 · To make sure you've completely failed, go to the Anor Londo bonfire and head to the place where theres a huge statue of Gwyn (It's an illusory wall) and go to Gwyn's(?) coffin where you found a miracle. If Anri's corpse is there along with a Pilgrim like Yoel, then you basically failed the quest and have to wait until the next NG. Hope this helps.
